The Hundred knockout permutations: Who needs what to qualify for final stages of men's and women's seasons?

The 2025 edition of The Hundred has hit the home stretch with the match-ups for Saturday's Eliminator contests confirmed.

The men's and women's sides that finish first in their respective tables after the eight group games secure direct qualification to the finals at Lord's on Sunday August 31.

The teams coming second and third will meet in the eliminator at The Kia Oval on Saturday August 30, with the winners of those matches then also making the final.

Here is the state of play as the league phase enters its final stages...

Oval Invincibles have finished top and go straight through to Sunday's final at Lord's.

Trent Rockets in second will play Northern Superchargers in third in Saturday's Eliminator at The Oval.

Invincibles completed their eight group fixtures with 24 points, the same number as Rockets achieved but with a superior net run rate.

Superchargers finished third on 20 points.

Rockets cemented their spot on Wednesday as they beat Birmingham Phoenix by three wickets to advance to the Eliminator in second place.

Finishing above the Superchargers in second also carries some value for Rockets, as it means they would advance to the final in the event of a washout.

Phoenix, Southern Brave, London Spirit, Manchester Originals, and Welsh Fire are eliminated.

The top three is set in the women's competition, with table toppers Southern Brave having already secured their place in Sunday's final after a record eight wins from eight

Northern Superchargers sealed second place as they beat Manchester Originals on Tuesday, also eliminating their opponents from contention.

That means Superchargers will face third-placed London Spirit in the Eliminator at The Oval on Saturday.

Already eliminated were Invincibles, Fire, Rockets and Phoenix.

This is used to separate teams on the same number of points during a league format, in the way that goal difference does in football.

Net run rate in The Hundred is the average runs scored by a team over 100 balls in each game minus the average runs scored against them over 100 balls in each game.
